The GTR.

Listening to: Q - Alice Nine

So what was planned of a day, mass assignment’ing turned out to be me drooling over a GTR for a good hour or so. My good old pal Yaser came over unexpectedly as per usual (gimme a warning next time bro) in his R33 GTR. Although the thing is as stock as a rock, any GTR is a monster nevertheless hence its nickname Godzilla. He’s got some massive plans for his new love (after he’s fiancĂ© I’m hoping). Hell the guys already rolling in a 400rwk R34 GT-T and by the looks of it a R35 GTR has his name on it somewhere in Japan sometime in the near future. He’s done himself good that’s for sure. I’ll leave you guys with the photos for now and see what I can make do with the rest of the day, hopefully assignments. For all those JDM lovers keep a bowl and some tissue handy just in case, also stay tuned for a photography session with his R34 in the near future, this weekend hey bro? ;]

There's your angle shot you requested bro. Can't wait to see this on phat offset rims.

Officially Unofficial (a ridiculously long post).

Watching: Gossip Girl - Episode 25 Season 2 (series finale).

There seems to be a consistent trend of me having free time only on Tuesday nights for this dearly beloved blog of mine, which as a matter of fact has been getting a lot of praise from people who I wouldn’t have expected to be reading this. Nevertheless spread the word about my blog if you may, the fuzz revolution is just getting started, world domination one step at a time peepole.

As mentioned in the previous post, last week was officially unofficially the first week of term 2 and most of the teachers just introduced each of their assignments once again. So work wise, it was pretty much a bludge. I probably should get started on the only essay of the semester first though and get it over and done with (soon lorrr). The other 4 assignments include;

- A magazine cover along with a two page spread.
- An art piece for the annual exhibition in August (more on this some other day).
- A “hypothetical” photographic exhibition entry.
- A concept packaging of some sort.

Sounds fun huh? Yeah..no. With roughly only 5 weeks to do all of them which includes a thorough development portion for most of them, trust me its hardly fun. Like, I do understand the fact that sometimes as designers we have to work in favor off strenuous deadlines but not ALL the fucking time. Rome wasn’t built in a day but somehow I can foresee my assignments being done over night. As Jacqueline would say “FML!” loll.

My weekend was alright, thanks for asking! How was yours? Mine included sending and picking up my ungrateful lidool sister to Saturday school, dinner at nandos, a day out with Vy which included Monash Clayton to check out a taekwondo tourney, Clayton maccas and then Japanese festival at Boxhill! Then went to wash my car at the proclaimed “worlds best carwash” near shafs joint and dinner at taco bell (corner Springvale Road and Princess Highway) with a bunch of boys from the good old year 12 batch. Twas a good night out.

Next day consisted of being RUDELY awaken by jii requesting to get out of bed an hour earlier (duma), went to chapel to give dee’s laptop back, finally bought that neon am95 inspired hoody, lunch at sandy’s parents joint which was appetizingly good. I had the curry laksa, still have yet to find the perfect place tho (the way my mum makes it), I remember seeing a laksa thread on the sneakerfreaker forum a while ago, probably should hit up the search func. soon. After lunch, headed back to the city, taking shots on the way. Went down to MC foodcourt (downstairs) only to bump into Ben with some of his friends and randomly Ravi. Lol parted ways with jii at around 5, and took the train home with kim. She was kind enough to meet up with me and drop me home. Naww, lets all now take a moment to stand up and clap in commemoration for her generosity. All in all it was a good Weekend + Monday.

After re-reading those last to paragraphs I can see why it’s a good idea to do separate blog entries into daily (or fort-daily ones?) instead of a bulk weekly thing for 2 reasons I can think of so far 1. It’s not as uncoordinated and 2. Because by Tuesday Id have already forgotten what I did on Saturday. T__T” ..anyway by the looks of it, I think this entry was overdue 3 paragraphs ago. I wont be uploading any photos tonight, mainly due to having the series finale of Gossip Girl on my usb ready to be played on my ps3. So far there’s only been 3 people on facebook raving about the episode and luckily no spoilers. I remember once I read one of Salma’s statuses on fb and it completely ruined the episode haha tho I don’t recall ever telling her off about it lol. Hope shes reading. Well kinda excited to see what happens in this ep, considering the last one was pretty epic so later days guys. I’ll upload some of the better shots tmr after editing them.

xoxo fuzz

p.s; WTFF, ^ that was 700 words. That’s 700 words that could’ve potentially gone to my 2000 word essay wasted. Duma.

The Past, Present and (maybe) Future.

Listening to: Way Away - Yellowcard

Today would make it exactly two weeks since my last post, so I figured why not update my little corner of the world wide web.

(past)

It’s been a pretty hectic week but I know that should be no excuse for the lack of updates. I crammed in a sneaker swap meet, a computer swap meet, three full days AGIdeas and dear shalya’s 18th with pics to come from all of them. You try sorting thru roughly 1500 photos and selecting the good ones, editing the not so good ones, deleting the absolutely terrible ones and getting them ready for print. So for all those hanging for the shots from shalya’s
(including shalya lol), be patient and bear with me please :]

(present)

Today was a marginally unproductive day which consisted of being woken up by a phone call and being informed it was 3 in the arvo, shower, food, tv, sleep, more food, more tv, some facebook poker, msn for abit and then more food and tv. (
Doesn’t get any better than that right thurr) -____-“

(future)

And as most good things come to an end, the term break is put to a halt as tomorrow dawns the first day of term 2, which means 5 brand spanking new assignments, all of which are most likely all due in the same week, some 7 weeks away. Mehhh Lets just hope it wont be a repetition of term 1
(here’s hoping). Lunch with Rabbya this coming Wednesday and maybe a cruise/hangout thing on Saturday with the old year 12 batch, if that goes ahead.

xoxo fuzz

Missing In Action.

Haha I do apologise for the absence of updates. I guess those of you who said my blog wouldn’t last, should’ve put their money on it. Getting slack already. Its been a busy week, I'll tell you that much. Weather’s been pretty shithouse too. It’s grey and rainy and quite frankly just miserable really. But some people get off on this weather lol. The seasons skipped autumn and just jumped straight to winter this year, fkn leaves should be turning golden right now, great photo opportunities missed.

Went to Chadstone on Friday night, just window shopping really, checking out the latest threads. Luckily I didn’t succumb to any impulse buys. Went to shisha afterwards. Usual spot at Springvale, bumped into Syafiq and his Rowville posse there and after about an hour of that went to Springy macca’s where we bumped into Aaron and Timmy and later on Ben. So yeah bumped into some friendly faces that day. Was buggerd by the end of it. Got home at around 12:30 but didn’t go to bed until about an hour later (stupid facebook! >.<”).

Saturday was a pretty dead day. Mum and sister got out of the house by midday (dads in Singapore atmo) so had the house to myself. I’m pretty sure I was on the computer all day and didn’t get upto anything productive (not that I can recall anyway). Actually I distinctively remember getting out of my room after god knows how many hours and everything was just dark. Turned on the lights, closed the blinds. Later on made myself some dinner; Alfredo Pasta. Turned out alright. Edible to say the least and I guess that’s all that mattered at that time. Jumped into bed by 12 cause I had work the next day. Was my first shift in 3 weeks. Twas nice to see Huey and Weelock after so long. Didn’t realize how much I missed work. We went to Moorabin that day and ended up making roughly 7 grand worth of sales. It was practically dead the whole day until about 3:30, when all the geeks with Rudds stimulus package in their pockets rocked up for some impulse computer peripheral splurges.

And that brings us to Monday and Tuesday which could be dummed down to sleeping, asian drama whoring, reformating dee’s laptop (you fkn owe me woman!) and some more sleeping. When I say asian drama, I’m referring to movies and not your standard 12/16/21 episode drama because I seriously don’t have time for marathons these days (wish I did tho). “Eonniga Ganda” also known as “Project Make Over“ was pretty cute. It’s about a fashion designers assistant who can’t comprehend what her lifes turned into. Gets drunk one night and makes a wish on her dead mother and somehow goes back in time in her old body to meet her younger self. I know that description might sound abit cornier and clichĂ© but the movie was good. Definitely gets my recommendation, and the other one was “A Moment To Remember” which kinda sounds like “A Walk To Remember” but don’t get me wrong that’s not why I watched it. lol I wasn’t anticipating a Korean version of its counterpart. It was acclaimed to be a tear jerker, but hardly got me there. It was moving to say the least. The movie follows the journey of a lady with Alzheimer's disease who falls in love and I know that kinda sounds like “50 first dates” but its not. No where near actually. The start was pretty sweet. Do watch both these movies if you have time and let me know what you think. I linked up the first part of both movies for yous.
Project Makeover
I think that’s it for today. Imma go try clock Grand Theft Auto IV now. The games a ball breaker that’s for sure. I’ll leave you guys with some nature aspired shots from the day I mowed to lawn (before the weather got on its rags luckily), tell me what you think yeah?

Watch it till the end, till the very very end.

Matt and Kim is a punk/dance duo from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2004 by Matt Johnson (vocals/keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums/vocals). The two met while attending the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and started playing local warehouse shows in Brooklyn. Their simple, dance style rhythms and energetic performances have gained them a substantial local following and a formidable online presence through social networking and media sites like YouTube and MySpace. The group released their first full-length, self-titled CD on record label and media group "Iheartcomix", in October, 2006. Matt & Kim is in the Summer 2007 line-up for the Siren Music Festival, a free music concert held in Brooklyn, on Coney Island, and in the Chicago fest Lollapalooza. They have appeared on MTV2 as program hosts. Their music video for "Yea, Yeah" has also been shown on the station, and the video for "5K" has been shown on MTV Europe but was said to be too violent for the US. Their second album Grand was released on January 20, 2009 on Fader Label.

Yesterdays outing didn’t really get off to a great start. Before it even started actually Kayte rain checked on me for a doctors appointment at 4 (pfft who needs doctors when you have apples). Plan was to city it, and by that time I already had my heart set on going out so lucky for me Kim finished early that day (or did you wag the rest of your classes?). And even that wasn’t a good thing. Just meant I had to get out of the house by 12:30. At the same time I received a call from my boys (more on them in the near future) saying they were stuck in Springvale because the VN petrol meter isn’t working (I’m telling you twins, scrap the thing and give me the tinted windows lol) and they were running on an empty tank but I was at the train station by then so there was nothing I could do. Not to fret though they managed to put their heads together and get out of their predicament. And then I missed my train which just meant Kim had to wait for another hour or so and she wasn’t the most happiest girl in the world when I told her I was going to be late. I’m always late though, she should know that by now.

That’s where my day actually gets better. The train ride was good … blasted my ipod, put my hoodie on and went to sleep. It was a good nap. When I arrived at Melbourne Central, Kim greeted me with a smile which trust me is always a good thing and then we just wondered around the usual stores. Carhartt, General Pants, Glue (which is having a massive sale btw, was tempted by a nice stussy jacket) and checked out the latest from HYPE and footlocker (nothing exciting really). We were also walking up and down Swanston St. looking for free wifi for Kims Iphone. Finally settled at macca’s but Federation Square has free wifi too for anyone interested. Bumped into jiiFAG and Ben at the front of state. Twas good finally getting to meet jiiFAG without her not not recognizing me and even with that I still think she didn’t know who I was at first. Do check out her blog when you can. Its not half bad (its not that grand either :P). She should have more pictures of her pretty friends (yeah I know your reading this, so do it!) and less of herself photowhoring!!!. Also bumped into Ibon swiftly, was a quick hi bye (was nice seeing you man).

Headed off to Kims house for dinner. Which meant I got to spend more time with my superstar princess Amy. Closest thing to a little sister I got because my actual little sister, well she’s not as little anymore. Ended the day off with the latest episode of Gossip Girl (episode 21 of season 2 I think it was). Twas a pretty good episode especially the dinner table scene lol. I think im falling in love with jenny again. 10 buck says shes gonna get her sexy on with chuck in the next episode. Did you see the way she was looking at him!! Haha that’s it for now. Leaving you with some pics of yesterday oh and a random Starbucks picture for Meera cause she so should be in Melbourne right now. Pfft who lives in perth.
